About this tour

Just 1.5 hours from Thessaloniki, Pozar Thermal Baths (Loutra Pozar) sit at the foot of Voras Mountain, where natural hot springs flow at a steady 37°C all year round. Known for their healing properties, the baths are one of the most relaxing escapes from the city in any season.

You spend around two hours in the outdoor thermal pools, surrounded by mountain scenery. If you’d prefer something more private, indoor pools can be arranged on request, subject to morning availability. Just let us know in advance.

Then we head to Edessa, the first capital of the ancient Kingdom of Macedonia. The highlight is Greece’s biggest waterfall, plunging into a gorge below the town. You have free time to walk the waterfall path and its viewpoints and bridges, in one of northern Greece’s most underrated towns.

Lunch isn’t included, but your guide will point you to the best local spots near the baths or in Edessa.
