Are your tours small-group or private?

All our day trips run as small private groups, built around the people booking rather than sold by the seat. Boutique trips for up to 3 guests travel in our own VIP vehicle; larger groups travel by minivan for 6–7 guests. Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included, and the itinerary can be adjusted on the day.

Do you offer multi-day trips, or only day trips from Thessaloniki?

Both. The trips listed here are our regular day trips from Thessaloniki, but a large part of what we do is tailor-made multi-day travel, most often through Epirus and northern Greece and across the mainland more widely. Several days on the road with the same guide and vehicle, an itinerary built around what you want to see, and accommodation arranged along the way. Tell us roughly what you have in mind and how long you have, and we will put together a proposal.

How do I book a private guided tour?

You can book our day trips directly on this site. For custom itineraries, multi-day trips, or anything not listed here, contact us and we will design a private tour from scratch and send you a proposal.

What makes Salty Soil's tours different from other Thessaloniki operators?

We do not sell seats on a bus. Every trip is private, built for the people booking it, and usually small, so the day bends around you rather than a schedule. We are a licensed travel agency (GNTO 0933E60000837301) with 20 years in tourism and event management, and trips are run by our own small team of local guides. The result feels less like a tour and more like a local friend showing you their part of Greece.
