Do not miss the opportunity for a full-day excursion to the enchanting Meteora, a jewel of Orthodoxy and a unique geological phenomenon listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The trip will start from your accommodation in Thessaloniki early in the morning. After a 3-hour drive and a stop on the way, your group will reach the little town of Kalambaka right under the Meteora cliffs.

From there, you will head to Kastraki, the closest village to the monasteries and then to the observation points to take some amazing photos. You will visit Gran Meteoro Monastery which is the largest of them all, and then a second monastery depending on your liking.

See the old temples and various spaces of the monuments, the way of life of the monks in the past, the magnificent views from the peaks of these cliffs and the great panorama that the area offers. (Please note that if you will need guidance from an official tour guide inside the monastery, it can be arranged at an extra cost).

After your visit, your tour leader will take you to Kalambaka, where you can have a rest and enjoy a coffee, drink or snack. Later, start your return drive to Thessaloniki.
